Wash oil is a derivative of petroleum product with high aromatic contents
it is widely used in flushing of rotary equipments e.g. compressors
it is produced in several stages and is a very refined product with high aromatic contents.
It sprayed into ethylene crackers continuously or at regular intervals to control the buildup of polymers on damaged gas compressor turbines, seals, intercoolers, and heat exchangers
